Port Blair, Nov. 1: The Central Executive meeting of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands was held recently at Port Blair. The meeting expressed deep condolence over the sudden demise of Smt. Elizabeth Pious, who was an active member of this Association and participated in various programmes of the Association. The meeting also condoled the demise of Shri Bhagat Singh, Retd. Superintending Engineer, Electricity Department and Chairman, ANSCB Ltd.

Port Blair, Nov. 1: An Entrepreneurship Development Module was conducted by the Skill Development Program (SDP) Cell of DBRAIT in association with SBI, RSETI for the trainees of Fashion & Apparel Designing Course yesterday at DBRAIT. The program was inaugurated by Shri Prabhu Yadav, Director, SBI RSETI who informed the trainees about various training programs which are being conducted by RSETI. Later, the session was carried forward by the resource person from SBI, RSETI during which, he sensitized the trainees about various schemes of the bank which would help them to start their own enterprises. The trainees were introduced to various entrepreneurial aspects during the module.

Port Blair, Nov. 1: All concerned candidates have been informed that the result of Skill Test conducted on 30.09.2023 through NIC, A & N State Unit for filling up the vacant post of Computer Assistant Gr.’A’ in the Amalgamated IT Cadre of A & N Administration has been uploaded in the A & N UT Portal https://www.andaman.gov.in. Based on the result of CBT held on 26.06.2023, 27.06.2023 and Skill Test held on 30.09.2023, the combined merit list of candidates has also been uploaded in the A & N UT Portal.
